Mother's Day
by Haramohan Roy on May 08, 2010 02:06 PM

Dear Maa,
Wish you a very happy Mother's Day. People of your generation did not observe such "Days". I nevertheless take this occasion to wish you.
We are all well here. Your dau1ghter-in-law (my wiife) is taking care of all of us here.
We know that you are missing us. Rest assured that we too are missing you. However, under the present circumstances, it is absolutely impossible for us to meet you, or to ask you to come and live with us. We all know that you'll appreciate the difficulty which is beyond our control. Hence, this letter wishing you all the very best.
This is the first Mother's Day that we'll be having here without you around at home. We regret that we did not observe this day in any year before you left in a hurry. Though we observed your birthdays on a modest note, we never thought of observing the Mother's Day! Allow me to express my regret for this lack on our part.
You always complained of your daug12hter-in-law because she never allowed you to live and move according to your will. So you left us to move freely. Now, she hopes that there will be no medical advice in that place (where you have gone) that will compel you to curb your movements, and there will be no daug22hter-in-law who will scrupulously ensure that you follow doctor's advice.
Maa, stay well. I post this letter on the web because it is the right place for you to read, as you too now live in the sky! Maa, we REALLY miss you. You left this world, but you still liv
