what an eye opener Do we need three nutritionists and the great rediff and another publicity seeking .com site to tell us about upma and idlis My servant maid could have done better than that GROW UP REDIFF BEFORE WE GIVE UP

ut what about pakara eating North Indian?? I shifted to Upma and Poha for breakfast from pranthas and have lost 5 kgs in 2 months.

Idli is the only breakfast item which is made without a drop of oil.. !! Grow up kid : lakshman

You can try vemicelli Upma for verity; (preparation - same like Rawa Upma only fry sevian without oil in a kadai) My daughter (3years old) loves it. You can also try Ragi, JOwar, Bhajri, Rice floor Talipeet. Excellent breakfast items without calories.
