As an avid traveller, I am appalled to see people throwing plastic cups, plates, packaging of crisps at these beautiful places. I was extremely pained to see a school group dumping their plastic plates in a reserved forest area near McLeodganj in Dhramshala. There needs to be a mass education campaign to prevent people dumping at these sites. People need to learn to carry their garbage back with themselves.

Harpreet I agree with you, Dont feel like visiting simla anymore because of this. If you look at the hills. The entire place is full of junk and garbage. The beauty of the place has been completely destroyed.
