i am sure not even 10% do know to write their Mother Tongue . we are just copy cats and would remain same as country . we are once colony of Brit and they forced us to serve and now even though we are free but our mentality to serve will not go. we ridicule our people who can speak fluen english , but not even bit ashamed on ourselves when we are murdering our culture language .
This only shows we are servants and we take pride in being one

exactly!!!we are not proud our country , language or culture and just imitate the west.. its a pity. whether racially abused killed or whatever we just que up for British, australian or US visas .its high time we should change our attitude

i believe you are the one who is not proud of India .We go abroad for various reasons its not that every Indian in abroad is abused . No matter where ever we are whatever we do , we should never forget our value as indians

What's with the mindless negativity? Let's be proud and happy for the ethnic Indian students. Being proud of and supporting Indian languages is another issue.
The very concept that English is the language of the educated is prevalent among us since our childhood. We see our PMs and Presidents address in English more often than Hindi, our great movie artists speaking in English while receiving awards for their Hindi movie roles (few exceptions).Not knowing English does not hinder in a country's progress can be seen through the European nations and Japan........hail all the Indian languages.....

This point should be accepted that PMs and President speak in English. This is because what they speak is for the whole country, so our southern brothers may have some difficulties in understanding their speech.

Most of the explainations are piecemeal. There are multiple factors behind that. Indian students cannot fully participate in games, adventure , rash driving and boy girl relationship. Their enrgy is reserved for studies. Parents induct the value system. The world slave is too harsh. N. K. Dashora
afterall indians never developed common medium of communication like chinese or germans or japanes...
they just find reasons to hate each others and that hate became severe with angrez divided and rule policy.. each slave dog showed they are different and better than other.

Indians should first conquer India only before conquering other nations. Currently India is being run by Italy and Vatican. Lol
That Indians and Chinese are better than Brits is a ridiculous conclusion to reach purely on the basis of exam results. The fact that Indians are good only at scoring marks in exams is once again underscored. Prowess in English or in Mathematics can only be proved by making worthwhile contribution to literature and to scientific / technological progress. The sooner the Indians get rid of this marks mania the better it would be as all round personality development is essential for success. It is also high time we moved away from hype like IIT, IIM etc. The alumni of these institutions have made no significant contribution to anything either at national or international level.
It is well known since many years that Indian brain is better then British. The appointment of Indian in the western world at high offices at the Government offices, Space programme, Scientific research and the Multi National companies is not due to any favor to Indian but because of their inteligence and hard work excelant knowledge of english and math.

And one more thing, India will not come to a standstill if Mrs Gandhi ( I think she is the one whom lankapat is referring to as white person ) quits. And she has not produced a dramatic change in Indian history. on the other hand, Indians control a major portion in high offices in western world
