Such points are ok in Books only

Such points are ok in books only to be taught in business schools, in the real so called polished corporate world.. you will get promotions / salary increase not for hard work ...but how much licking you do of your boss...Exit interview is useless in India ..only used to know what impressions does the employee carry about his boss .. so that they can delay his relieving , hold his dues etc...

Quitting - A very unpleasent experience.

Exit Interview is an Ideal Management tool which is very rare in the Indian companies, big or small. On the contrary resigning is a very painful and gruelling experience. It has never been a smooth affair as most of the employers are invariably crooks and try to put spanners in the process. Even legal tool is very tardy and long drawn process with no guarentee that the case goes in employee`s favor. In the lower management levels like representatives and executives are protected by their unions, if they are registered. But in Managerial positions it is very difficult to come out of the old employment.

exit ..

Does company matter in good way . That after long association there is seperation of employee, they will put only hardels like notice pay or legal bond etc. No company will relive immediately as employee wish. On the other part when company induct they will ask to join in 8 days . irespective of your last bond. SO I don't think that in exit interview you should express nicely and not hurting way. Once you decided to leave then just go ahead and don't look back .. future is yours only

Even in Exit interview you be political and diplomat it doesn't help, communicate in a straight forward manner why are you leaving the organization no matter how harsh the reason is.. a salary, a bad boss or anything else. I am sorry to say that the author wants us to be nice and don not want us to say what we feel from heart but wants us to communicate what seems good or what the employer wants to hear.......Let me tell you, "It requires a little madness to cut the rope and be free.
