Wrong calculation and statistics
by prashant pednekar on Mar 24, 2010 02:10 PM  | Hide replies

To make a shirt 27000 liters of water is not required. To grow the cotton, 1500 liters of water is required which is the same using DPOL. Maybe there is a little saving but not 27000 liters. The editor has not not cross checked for facts and fiction.

Wrong Information
by Pallavi Shivakumar on Mar 24, 2010 01:25 PM  | Hide replies

It is mentioned that nearly 27000 litres of water is used to make a shirt. It is wrong . One can verify it easily if needed from IIT Delhi Textile department. People should be very careful when giving figures. Please correct it
