To make a shirt 27000 liters of water is not required. To grow the cotton, 1500 liters of water is required which is the same using DPOL. Maybe there is a little saving but not 27000 liters. The editor has not not cross checked for facts and fiction.

and its just not water trhat dpol is saving its much more in terms of resources, man hours, machine hours, chemicals. fibers. yarns.. and it adds new features to deisgn too
It is mentioned that nearly 27000 litres of water is used to make a shirt. It is wrong . One can verify it easily if needed from IIT Delhi Textile department. People should be very careful when giving figures. Please correct it
