Recession - blessing in discuise!
by niroj Udvasito on Mar 23, 2010 09:57 PM

At least lastweek Forbes Billionre list shows 2 fold increase of Indian industrialist outperforming recession itself. They say recession comes in a century. Would we mind much if it happens in 2 years!!!
Leave alone those 49, remaining Billion INDIANs once again toil the sufferings once more to make it the number 100plus.
Loss that remaining Billion Indians sufferd in last 18 months will ever be repaired or can be? Family, Love, Affection,Friendship, Miscarriage... can ever be set off....

There is atleast Bong who is hard working and with entrepreneurial spirit. What a striking difference from the usual paan chewing, polemic spewing, layabouts that you see in Bongoland[West Bengal]. Hats off to you, Sir! May your tribe increase. If there are 100 of you people in every field in Bengal that's enough to turn it into another Japan.
GODSPEED & MAY SUCCESS FOLLOW YOU AT EVERY STEP.

Bongs are like Sardars/Punjabis - totally radical people.

We Marathi/Southie types are employment-seeking sheep waiting to be herded around - by cunning employers!

Tamils give undue importance to intellectual rivalry and Gujjus/Marwadis give undue importance to "Bada Gandhi".

And everyone exploits central Hindi spekaing block - MP, UP, 36, and North East.

What about SHIVSENA, an Extreme case of right wing communal group....
Mumbai owes to other communities as well as natives for its development just like other metros. That' the fact.

Shows your limited intelligence and your dysfunctional upbringing. This stereotype more or less suits some of the political party workers not the everyday Bengali. It is like calling every Punjabi a slow-witted truck driving idiot. Besides it is easy to hide behind Anonymous and talk hard...

As far as entrepreneur skillz of the Bengali community, remember the Sahara,
NDTV, Amar Bose(Bose Corp.), Raman Roy (Father of BPO, Founder of Quatrro), Anjan Chatterjee(Specialty Restaurant), Sadhan Dutta, Steve Banerjee.

Besides them, historically Bengalis have been the trailblazers of the Indian Entrepreneurship. Dwarkanath Tagore(first Industrialist from Bengal), Sir Rajen Mookerjee and his son Sir Biren Mookerjee(Indian Iron and Steel Company) , Motilal Seal and Ramdulal Sarkar. Ramdulal Sarkar is known to be the FIRST INDIAN to do business with USA alongwith England, other European countries, South-East Asia and Middle-East.

Moreover mythological protagonist CHAND SAUDAGAR was from Bengalwho appeared in myths revolvong Goddess Manasa.

@ ganith vidwan,

good & bad, right & wrong are there in every community, culture, country. no one have any right to "tag" entire community with a particular type!!! never use slangs like "bongs" etc for any of your fellow Indians. Thats the least "we" can do. "WE" who have taken our country for "granted".

@ amit rakshit,

your list must have had the name NETAJI SUBHASH CHANDRA BOSE at the top of it. very sad to see your list with the names of bollywuders & cricketers; without mentioning the name of SHREE RAVINDRA NATH TAGORE next to the name of NSC Bose; along with the name of SHREE AUROBINDO GHOSH.

think twice before you call yourself an Indian & a Bengali.

i am not a bengali, but i am an Indian; and have extremely high regards and respect for these three Patriot Indians.
