I am 30 and Yoga helps me a lot.
by Giridhar Bhandekar on Jul 01, 2010 11:31 AM  | Hide replies

My father is a yoga trainer and has helped people almost heal of their ailments with different poses of yogas. Even at the age of 70, he can walk for 3 km with a weight of 15 kgs apprx. without keeping it down atleast once. I didn't listen to him in the beginning but now when I am 30 and work stress and working style is draining me out and when followed his advise i find real difference. You know when we are young, our body has got this natural stamina (ofcourse dependent of your eating life-style) which doesn't shows this difference in relief of practicing yoga. Because I used to do for sometime. But now I find the instant difference. Believe me, ardently do atleast one (ex:surya namaskar poses) and you will find a lot of difference.

There is an old English proverb " By the time I realize my father's greatness, my son prepares to call me a fool". (winks eye). Same here :-)

i know a guy working in States who after doing some exercise with his head down and feet up, suffered a brain hemorrhage and his poor family was crestfallen on receiving the news.

No one knows when death will strike each one of us.

So do good deeds till we are alive.

Not exactly that way Bhaau. Tumhi mistake ghetle. One should actually visit doctor prior to practising certain yogasanas if one is suffering from some ailments. Yes certain poses increase blood pressure, heart beat, body heat but these are for sometime. If followed all the poses properly in series then it would heal and not harm body.

It should be banned in all mussie countries. Its against their ideology. A fatwa should be issued against Yoga by maulvis. I am all for a ban for mussies.

Yoga can be extremely dangerous, it can create problems for life time. Yoga is a great art but there are no good teachers.
Jogging, Swimming, Cycling, Smiling and Laughing can keep us young.
