Instead eat a small portion at 2 to 3 hours interval to give required nourishment to the body and spend the energy by remaining active. Thats the golden rule to loose weight and still remain healthy. Catch a space shuttle to moon and as gravity is less there, you can reduce your weight by more than 50kg in a day. Make sure that the shuttle reaches there within a day.. So take NASA shuttle and not ISRO shuttle

Most of obesity & thyroid disorders patients say the same thing: Doctor, I eat very less & still put on weight. How come?
It is like this: There are two persons having monthly incomes of 10K & 100K respectively. Each one saves 10% of his income. At the end of one year, the first one will have 12K & the second one will have 120 K in their accounts.
Translating this to our case, howsoever small may be the qty of food that one eats, if he does not burn it completely, it is stored in the form of fat & over a period of time, one becomes obese.
As a thumb rule, one should cut 15% of his intake daily. One should not hurry & not aim for more than 1 kg reduction in a month & not more than 10 kg in a year. That way, whatever one has reduced is likely to remain so. There may be exceptions and a few patients lose more weight & remain so.
One of the best ways to beat hunger by eating less is to eat a cucumber before each meal. It will effectively reduce the qty of food that is taken subsequently. In addition, reduce the qty & the number of times one takes coffee or tea. This will add to a loss of at least 1-2 kg in a year. Never skip your b/f. Take moderate lunch & a light dinner.
