Winners, satisfied & the losers!
by shiva on Mar 15, 2010 06:23 PM  | Hide replies

The headline can cause severe chemical reaction in some, but is a good base to gain momentum! Without hardwork, is like waiting for manna to fall from heavens!

One need to be smart & evaluate our life often. Most are easily satisfied, so it is their own choice at the levels they are in! The real losers are those who gripe endlessly but hardly make an effort to stir out of their comfort zones! That is no go!

More important is passion & focus. There are sacrifices involved for success. One need to be on the toes & cannot slack! Agreed, tough for most! So we drop out of the race before it begins!

Many feel envy & impute motives easily for those who get ahead of the pack. But forget the harsh discipline involved. China is the toast of the world! Give all raw materials & they will make the finished product in a jiffy! Go for tours, everything like clock-work. But we do not have the stomach for such discipline. It is their choice! We are ok by our democrazy, thank you & the endless griping & sniping from the side-lines, bringing those ahead! But hats off to those who just carry on & know they have it in them that others lack! Let them bark!

Things are much better now for us to get ahead. Alas, there is no perfect time to make the grand entry! In the worst of times, only Dhirubhai could outsmart all, left in the starting blocks!

Hail the achievers, anytime!!

by Ckickmagalur Hari on Mar 15, 2010 05:54 PM

Guys like these are full blooded capitalists with a lots of connections. The guy's talk about hard work is all crap and in fact juevenile. All they do is make sure they hire a bunch of smart manipulators like themselves, break each and every banking rule and rake in the money and while they are doing that, the next financial crisis would anyway be looming large. And when that happens, they will just fire unwanted material for all the mistakes that they made, and announce fat bonuses for themselves ! These guys should be shot ! Simple. We should have more respect for the neigbourhood bania than these types. They are totally evil, and they dont even know it !

I don’t know whether a Cashier can open in his own Bank but yes, I know of a man who was the son of an ordinary school teacher in Gujarat and his company is the largest pvt. Sector company in India and a Fortune 500 company. His surname is Ambani.

To be that really big, it also needs lot of manipulations, tactics to buy people and lots on apart from the initial dedication, hardwork, sincerity.

After u cross some level u need more contacts and tactics.

Hope u understand ...

Entreprenuership is extremely difficult in this country where everyone from govt officials to vendors are crooks. Everyone wants bribes whether its private or public enterprise. The entrepreneur has to make enough money to pay these crooks and also his overheads and have something left over for himself. This country is for clerks and small shopkeepers.

Sad but really true. Bribe taking habit in this country is a big killer of entrepreneurship..This is the reason why we are lagging behind despite having so many intelligent people.

Don't blame country and small people. crookness comes from the top. The people at top are not so gentlemenlike people. They exploit the hard working, lower level people. The services like labour are very cheap in India compared to western countries so enterprenuer are successfull in India than other countries

He obviously means working hard with a plan and in the right direction.
If you plan to go to the railway station, just because you travel some distance you wont get there.
You need to know where you're going and travel in the right direction.
Seriously, if you have a good plan and work hard, you wont go very wrong.

Good one ! These ultra rich banking types can talk a lot of bullshit. Infact, that's their main success mantra !! "The more your bullshit is believed by others, the luckier you get"- is more like it. Nonsense.

The difference is in goal setting..the goal of a porter is to get maximum customers in a day. But that cant make him a crorepati..but still he'll be better off than other porters..

SUccess is relative..for some its Rs 100 more than his colleague..for others its million dollars more than his competitor
