Insted of giving the advantages/disadvantes of both, your expert have left the answer for the viewers. What was the purpose of such articles? Why u waste yours and our time? Can the Moderater have the guts to answer my question?

as per article it looks ETF is for exposure in indexes, gold and other commodities and for short duration they are better. Mutual fund on the other hand deals with stocks and to get the returns from mutual fund one needs to be invested for longer period of time.
So you have to make the decision to either go for ETF/Mutual Fund.
