We must make Mumbai a bicycle city. The cars will go away and the buses, trams and the bicycles will make Mumbai look beautiful.

Good work!

Hey good work. Maybe u should go around in buildings and buy the idle cycles...and use them after refurbishing them. U shd concentrate on Vashi, Nerul, Kharghar where the autos hold the people to ransom. Mumbai autos are well behaved and the buses work well in Mumbai. Start small in these locations, it will pick up for sure. Best of luck once more.

Bicycle hiring/riding problems.
by Vetaikurumugankao Ramanathan on Mar 05, 2010 04:56 PM

Congratulations to Ramesh for his innovative idea in cycle hiring business. To overcme the health problems such as development of hernia and knee joint problems,I suggest that he should try attaching a small engine with suitable gear train, which could be pressed on to the rear wheel, at the top below the pillion seat, which will give the required propulsion power. Such engines were in vogue in the 1940-50s. The engine can be operated on LPG or Kerosene, kept in a suitable tank, conveniently located. The whole attachment wrighs less than 30 Kgs. - V.K.Ramanathan, Thane.
