It must be difficult to face extreme stress & dejection but atleast a person can realise that its all too temporary. One thing that helps is that one must pray regularly & live a righteous life.
Suicide rate in the youngsters is on increase mainly because of fall in values & undue importance being attached to the materialism which was never the first preference in the earlier years. The present youth is the most confused striffed off between good & bad;they are at the cross roads not knowing which way to go & which way leads to where. In a way,the elders should also be blamed for their confusion;every parent of these days aspires his son/daughter to be an engineer or doctor as if there is no other avocation that could be adopted for eking out a livelihood. The present day children have become highly sensitive to the ideas & aspirations of their elders & in the event of their not succeeding in their efforts to be what their elders expect, they resort to the extreme step of ending their lives itself. This is an unfortunate state of things in the modern society which needs to be decried & given a serious thought from the point of its being shunned.Despite all big sounds being made by the social reformers/leaders,dowry system still continues to be the biggest social evil plaguing the modern society.People below the age of 30 years are more proactive & reactive to the situations since it is always "the age considers & youth ventures"Some one has correctly said that if a person committing suicide thinks even for a second about the impulsive action he tries to resort,90% of the suicides could have been avoided.Present youth are awfully misguided by their priortisations.

Rightly said - Materialism has been undue importance. But then we've to pursue something, and then what is that ?
people believe in destiny. if that is so then how can you blame people who are commiting suicides. it has happned in accordance with their destiny. no more discussion because we cant prevent destiny. whaat do you intellectuals say? everything is preordained.

That is what it boils down to ultimately! But we trying to strike at the very perception of that dreadful idea in a dejected person.Well!! That way,you may, again say that getting such a pernicious idea itself is destiny. There is no end to extend this "Karma Theory".

Committing suicide is a mental disease which is curable by medicine.Unfortunately it is misunderstood as inability to cope up with stress.Only peple closely associated with the victim can help the persom to meet a psychiatrist.
