Thongs
by Mas on Jun 19, 2010 12:00 PM

Only Thongs! That's the best dress for him. Others also wear thongs. I want to see how Sonia Madam looks in a thong. Probably Rahul when he becomes the PM of India, he will make Thongs as India's national dress. We have billions of population and thong is the smallest cloth.

Is this journalism?
by Pradyumn Sharma on Jun 19, 2010 11:59 AM  | Hide replies

What should Rahul Gandhi wear on his wedding? Is this journalism? Is this a burning issue the country is facing today?

Journalists and media have a responsibility to the masses. Don't fritter away that responsibility. There are more important things to be taken up by the media.

Just like there is IgNoble award, if there was an award for the most meaningless media stories, I think this one (and many others that appear on rediff site from time to time) will not have much competition.

I fully agree with pradyumn. Seriously, when will our media realise their responsibility. People are suffering across the country from various problems. Even if you do a detailed research on one of them, it would take care of your web pages for days together. Frankly, why should any indian bother, what Rahul Gandhi is going to wear in his marriage? Absolute crap. I think, we are misutilising the technology available on such frivolous issues, where other countries are using the same to optimum benefit. Thats why WE ARE ALWAYS A DEVELOPING COUNTRY.

Rajiv Nehru and Anderson
by Viswanadh Vemuru on Jun 19, 2010 11:57 AM

It is ironical to discuss here such a trivial issue when the country at large and Bhopal in particular, is wondering on the shoddy handling of Anderson's issue by this Rahul's father.
