In a country where half of the population can even afford 2 square meals a days, the author is asking readers to dip their feet in milk and honey. I understand we all need to pamper ourselves but there are other method of doing so without wasting liters of milk. Most effective way to exfoliate that dead skin and moisturize would be to mix 2 TBS fine sugar and 2-3 TBS skin friendly oil (olive,safflower,sesame etc.) , scrub that on the feet gently and rinse.

Having said that ,how many liters of milk ,honey ,fruits go in the name of Abishekam for God.He would be more that happy if we could give them to the poor and needy.

I totally agree with you, 2 litres of boiled milk for pampering feet!! Its ridiculous and completely vain. Get a good foot scrub or use sugar!!
