30 out of World's top CEOs do not have an MBA Degree. Better you leave the desicion on your son.

MBA is not entirely required in any field. It's all about real life experiences, observation and reasoning abilities, self control..etc which are required for any kind of management. An ME course(communications/signal processing/micro electronics) can provide just a platform to further his knowlege, but then again it depends on the individual's interest.

Congrats to all of you :) Well done and keep it going.

P.S: I am curious of one thing. All are interested to go to IISc for their further studies and none into IITs. Also 4 out of 5 are from Jadavpur University - knew it was a good place but didn't know it was so good.
