My father was a great cook not because he used good flavours while cooking but he always cooked for his kids with love and affection. Whenever my mother was away from home, my father used to take charge of the kitchen. Since my childhood till six years back (till my father was alive), he used to give surprises to us with his cooking specialities.
Though my mother is a great cook but my father was superior than her.

but they would still expect their wife to cook at home na they cook for the world.. but family.. not sure
