Puja Shah : thanks for the wonderful description
by Amod Karnik on Jun 15, 2010 06:16 PM  | Hide replies

Great Puja Shah.....you and your family seem to have a great taste for travel...Turkey is obviously a tourist's paradise....

Little disappointed that you did not see the beautiful Hagia Sofia, the biggest tourist attraction of Turkey....

Also, next time you visit Turkey, combine it with a visit to the beautiful cypriot island(Cyprus) and Rhodes islands.....Also, visit the beautiful island of Adrianople(Edirne)which gives you a fantastic view of the bay of the Bosporus and the Aegean sea......

Take care,
AMOD

Know the truth of turkish rulers
by leela gupta on Jun 10, 2010 07:00 AM  | Hide replies

Even the holy men
travelling with Temur’s army were required to act as executioners, and many were
in tears as they sent innocent men and women to their deaths in cold blood. ‘The
history of mankind cannot furnish another example of so horrid an act of deliberate
cruelty’, wrote the nineteenth century historian Sir Malcolm Price, ‘yet the being
who perpetrated it has been exalted by historians and poets into a semi-god; and
several, not contented with ascribing to him that valour, policy, and martial skill,
which he undoubtedly possessed, have extolled him for his numberless virtues; and,
above all, for his justice and clemency.’
This is the most cruel joke of life.........a man responsible for killing millions in cold blood is extolled........and poeple like shah going to see turkey........

kill one man and you're a murderer. Kill a million and you're a conqueror.
