MEETING MY BEST FRIEND
by UMESH SHARMA on Aug 02, 2010 07:36 AM

Quite late in the life I happen to meet my best friend, perhaps God designed the things to happen this way !She is only one among several friends who understands me rather each other much better.
It was a very very hot summer day, I was at the construction site of my house, I was feeling very thristy but there was not a sinlge drop of clean, potable water around, I was bit scared to drink the same water being used at the construction site. Then ,She appeared from no where, know known, never met earlier.I came to know later on that she is supervising construction of several other houses being an Archtect. She perhaps read my face & brought out the 1 litre Bislery n placed that in my hands and left for her work sites.I even could not say 'thans' to her.
Later on went to her, thaned her, went togather in the same car to a nearby Eatery had our lunch together.Ever since we are good, good friends. No day is complete without her mention!

Friends are indeed 'the' most respected, jovial, co operative people
Having good friends for a long time shows the true qualities of a well mannered individual

I personally have friends from different nationalities and communities, I believe in below points and have never lost any true & deserving person as a FRIEND !

-Whenever you need your friend, remember that he is just a phone call away...distances can't separate friends

-In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends

-Improving U r imperfections after you realize it, always take some time.

Lastly,
There are relationships apart from Bf/Gf, marriage, siblings, friendship that can be very emotional and true which is beyond the understanding of many people.

and now I request whoever reads this not to REPORT until my friends read it :)
thanks in advance

My best friend is inflation (mahangai). Howsoever hard I try I am not able to get rid of it. I dont know when I met mahangai in my journey of life but now no amount of income earned with hard work is enough for me to leave it behind, It is always with me hand in hand always reminding me of its existense with me.

It seems that making true friendship that too getting best friend is very tough because to get a good friend you have to be honest & true to that level also.Whatever the technological level may exist in society, the fundamentals won't change. The structure remains the same.It seems the selfishness in society is inversely proportionate the quality of friendship.
So everybody should first come out with becoming best friend to get a best friend.

you dont need friend to be happy.

Gossoping with friend is cheap pleasure indian live on. Its time to change it. Our basic source of pleasure should be work the karma- what krishna says.
We should devote ourselves in building and maintaing world class park, foot path, road, high tech library. All these things are gonna fulfill human needs. our family, friend every one. That give you a high. A feeling that you used your life for service of fellow human. Thats true friendship. Actually its called 'friendliness'. thats within you. thats something sacred, not friendship.

So instead of wasting your time preaching about work, why don't you go and do some....
