Not a suitable collection for Indian market.

The gap between local perceptions and this designer's mind is very high. May be these designs are meant for women who go under a burkha- a segment of which this deisgner seems a most competent expert.

Those golden sandals look so "zam zam"!

Your observation is correct - I dont think that most respectable families with small kids would accept invitations of such characters and turn up to weddings..

as far as Indians are concerned. And none of the designs can be worn by the bride. Maybe by the guests? Yes.

Black by guests is also inauspicious because it reminds of Kafan which is associated with death.

You are basically very corrct that the collection is unsuitable for Indians due to black colour. Moreover I also saw that the patterns are influenced by nursing gowns , maternity dresses and burkhas - these do not make a bride look innocenT and clean.

It is not only indian weddings........ I don't think people from any other culture would wear such dresses.
