Soya is not Food
by Manish Jain on Jul 01, 2010 05:36 PM  | Hide replies

Just google this, Soya is not designed as food for human beings but for other animals. It is crap and cause of concern poor health.

Soya oil turns in to trans fat while deep frying.

Government has allowed to mix Soya Oil with Peanut oil and with other Vegetable oil. It is very sad.

You are right - as a researcher on child obesity related issues living abroad I was shocked to read this and did some research on the internet and found the following - the number of obese people in India mentioned by this article was an estimate made by an international agency based on obesity statistics of USA, UK and Australia - they have clearly given a warning on their website that it is an inaccurate and rough estimate - the wonderful journalists of Rediff should not have done our country such a disservice by picking up wrong statistics from somwhere and quoting it to cause alarm.

rediff has always take data from any foreing sites when they make any report........they never do homework before making any report.......many times i have observed that their report cannot be applicable to indian conditions. they applicable only for foriegn rich & developed countries ......SAME ON YOU REDIFF .......
