NRN is hated by the Gowda clan because NRN is a Brahmin, and Deve Gowda is a Brahmin hater...NRN is a self-made man, and came up with harwork and intelligence, Gowda hates all these and he's jealous

the last two decades proved that indian democracy achieved excellence in selecting intellectuals like vajpayee, narashimarao, manmohan singh and kalam saheb for the top posts of the country. to continue this excellent trend mr.narayan murthy should be our next president

Fools like you are shown their place that's why you complain. How many people you provide employment for? A parent has to be strict even with their kids so what's wrong if Mr. Narayana Murthy has to be strict with his employees?

Strictly, nothing wrong by grammar.
Its somewhat like the distinction between "may i come in" and "can i come in".
One attends a meeting, participates in a meeting or can have a meeting with someone. One can attend a meeting by "taking" a phone call. But directly taking a meeting is not good english. Not expected from someone in ISB, where verbal skills are tested before a person can secure admission.
Thats it buddy. No hard feelings. We are not Amir Khan or Dil Chahta hai :). There is still scope to attain perfection.

Nice info. One attends a meeting called by the boss; one participates in a meeting of peers ie people of similar designations from different organizations ie All general managers of different banks participated in the meeting. When it is for one to one discussion requested by the person having lower hierarchy, like the case above when Chaitanya sought to meet Shri Murthy it is having a meeting; Taking meeting strictly, wrong gramatically as well
Sir Narayana Murthy is looked upon for his values and vision not only in India but also abroad. I only wish that Govt of India wakws up and request him to mentor the IAs and IPS cadres who have no humility or empathy( except avery few)and lack vision. The IAS and IPS works by sheer pressure tactics and no motivation thats why we end up with factionalism and zero teamwork. I wish that I am luck enough to spend some time with Sir Narayana Murthy and enrich my life too.
