TRAI today is no more than a friendly pug of the telecom operators (remember hutch advertisement)
I had a airtel number for last 4 years, suddenly they disconnect it and when contacting the customer care they say they cant do anything about my number
They also ask what is the proof if i had recharged after closing my account with sufficient balance without any reason
If any of the Airtel top executive reading these comments then please wake up man there is every thing going on wrong with the customers. I will be the first customer, the day I will get other network facility with same number.
No Need No way we will accept aitel's sincere apologies for their as usual inability to help customer at any point of time. This is not the way to earn money and it straight words Airtel cheating the customers as always. Worst company Worst Experience This is only due to number customers considering airtel otherwise no one wants to continue such a cheat company. This is our bad luck that we are using your services.
All these mobile operators will learn a lesson when the number portability comes into existence. Once this happens, dissatisfied customers will switch over to other operators. Now customers hang on to one operator despite poor services (irresponsible customer service, network congestion, exorbitant / unlawful charges, charging for services not activated / requested, etc.)only because they don't want to change their no. My experience is that Airtel has poor service & poor customer service, Reliance has good network and very poor customer service, Idea has average service and good customer service. Both BSNL & MTNL has network congestion.

they wont. because they will scuttle it. they have mr. raja, the friendly pug of the telecom operators. their new slogan should be "why fear when we have a raja"
ALL MOBILE SERVICE PROVIDERS - IDEA/AIRTEL/RELIANCE .. ARE SAME. MOST OF THE SERVICES ARE SUPPORTED BY FRANCHIES. THEY JUST DO WORK - WHERE EVER MONEY COLLECTION IS INVOLVED. WHEN YOU CALL HELP LINE - YOU HAVE TO WAIT IN HRS FOR THE REPLY. THEN WE WILL GET REPLY - WITHIN 48 HRS TO 72 HRS. AFTER THE COMMITTED TIME IF YOU CALL FOR THE REPLY - AGAIN THEY WILL REPLY THE SAME. IT IS TOTALLY TIME CONSUMING JOB. I HAVE PURCHASED A NET CONNECT MODEM FROM RELIANCE ON 23.12.2009 - COMMITTED ACTIVATION IS ON 26.11.2009. TILL DAY WAITING FOR THE ACTIVATION.
my dear I agree also, here i let that i m in chennai but i have one delhi airtel number also, when i came to chennai there was a balance of rs.260 in my delhi airtel number. during my chennai stay i used my chennai number, just i kept my delhi number on but did'nt used, suddendly airtel stared deducting from my bal and within 10 days they left my balance nill. now I m waiting when number portability service will start i will change mean leave airtel services which really worst at present in india.
