Pangong Lake in Ladakh is not 15000 mts above sea level ... (mentioned as "see" level in article)
It is actually around 14000 Ft (4200 mts).
A site like rediff should review and correct these kind of errors before it gets published on the web. Several errors like these are noticed on several articles .. If your site is running short of manpower, I can work part-time.

a little camera shakes here and there then this expected since these are not specially commissioned work but photographs taken on a fly by readeras and not professionals. Ignoring all that all are beautiful. I will not call them pictures or Snaps but PHOTOGRAPHS. THEY ARE ALL WONDERFUL..

yes it appears he took the feet as metres...even summit of mt everest is only 8.8 km above sealevel...it is a trivial problem by which the height is denoted still by the british foot pound second system

If you read the article and the heading it says "readers pictures". IF YOU ARE NOT CAPABLER OR DO NOT AND CAN'T AFFORD A CAMERA THEN YOUR NEXT BEST BET IS TO STAY SHUT.

15000 mts above sea level is not possbile. But 'see' level it is possible!!! Yeah he's written it as 'see level'. Arun, you need to 'see' that too!!!
