Tourism ministry

... is useless. We have such splendours in NE India, great beaches in south, wonderful temples...When we do tourism in US, UK, Europe, guys just like that build tourism brand and mint money. Not famous destinations are huge - be it places to trek, camp, wildlife, Islands... Sad, people who have to take care - care two hoots about tourism.

more hyped than Goa! Each one of it's beaches is so dirty that one would wonder at how matters can be hyped so much that commoners get deluded into actually spending their money to visit Goa !

Right indeed. Goa never gives you a wholesome and healthy feeling. It has become popular because of beaches (thogh they are dirt but then wgat is the option), easy availability of cheap liquor and intoxicants, good infrastructure, good communication and easy access from any part of the country.

Paul, you seem to be a mean minded person. What has Nehru to do with this? If you have hatred towards Nehru family, comment on some other page. This is a tourism page. Don't spoil the beauty with cheap and mean comments.
