Seebu Subbu..Are you part of idubbu team? Guy is simply saying it does not work in most popular browser..I just checked and it does not work..tried in Firefox..horrible..
I don't want to burst this guy's bubble - but he's living in a dream world.
It's like saying I make lemonade - so my competitors are Coke and Pepsi. That is nonsense.
You've got to either be a lunatic or a fanatic to state Google and Apple as your competitors. Going by the product value and usability - the promoter of iDrupal seems more like a lunatic. Passion for excellence is NOT a common denominator - most companies have passion for excellence, but few achieve what Google and Apple have.
Grabbing eye balls thru Rediff will do you little good - unless your product has real world usability. I see no reason why I would trust this guy with my data. Instead, I'd put my faith in Google or a simple backup device.
At the start of any venture (I have started 4 so far), there is a lot of enthusiasm and "I can conquer the world" euphoria. But when the lack of funds bite the promoter's behind - it'll keep you awake late into the night. The only way out if to provide real, tangible value. iDrupal, sad to say, isn't doing that.

Well said about lemonade. They have pissed in the lemonade and claim that their lemonade can now compete Coke and Pepsi due to the fizz.
They have a demo section on their sign in page, and I checked it out. It emulates a Windows vista-like system in your browser. However, I don't see the point. Google docs offers the same features: online storage, plus applications (this site only had a text editor).
As I see it, they've done a good job nailing down the Windows vista/7 interface. I don't see why someone with a netbook will prefer this to google docs (or any equivalent service, like MSN).
The most important thing for any platform is not looks but applications. If it was the other way around, Mac would have been where MS is now. MS worked well with other application developers, which Apple never did well. (MS is still one of the biggest developers for Apple, in the form of Office for Mac).
Hope they learn something from this and make something useful in future. As it stands right now, I don't see much use for it. Google Docs still beats this by a country mile.
iduple is cool. I am still not sure on its success bcos there is no privacy as in desktop case . I would prefer to do all stuff on desktop why do I need webtop?
