Like to correct you that the ramayan and mahabharat are not our mythology but our history. All Indians own this rich history but unfortunately many believe in westerners and believe as they are just mythology .
an ambassador like you should call it our history and shall make all of us proud one day.

Well said. There are many evidences to prove them but we ignore because we are mentally slaves of westeners and our politicians always want to please the minorities.

Not good knowledge of ramayan and mahabharat but the stuff of bows and arrows, large giants and people on birds, definitely sound like mythology and not history. The definition of history is usually chronological record of events, as of the life or development of people or institution.

Manu seot: all histories will become mythology after thousand of years. you can call eight thousand years old history as mytholagy, and 2000 years old as history. you may still believe Dinosers era was mythology ???
In from of Indian mythology, evry thing is big zero. Our mythology has been down graded by oour selves in the name of "blind beliifs" and miths. Our ancient rishis of past have analysed every thing in this universe and gave us the tip of the iceberg in the name of mythology. But due to western infulence and the tacit support our our own countrymen, our mythology has been neglected. Hence we don't need to get a certificate from another country as to the greatness of our mythology. One always should remember one thing, that a Certificate or Honour etc should be given by suepriors and not subordinates!

imagination doesnt make any history, it remains a mythology only.

Even if it may be mistaken as mythology/imagination,realise the inteligence of epic writer who could imagine an aeroplane 5000 years back.We can only admire likes of Arthur Huxle and not our ancestors.
