Emigration if for example when you leave a country. Immigrant is when you arrive in a country to which you dont belong to or doesnt have residency. For example, I am in UAE and I am from India, I am an immigrant in UAE and emigrant in India.

difference is, emigration is formed by e,m,i,g,r,a,t,i,o,n letters and immigration is formed by i,m,m,i,g,r,a,t,i,o,n letters....

for indians it does not matter whether you write CV or resume,just ensure that you and your interviewer are of same state.

same state ,same region,same caste...and maybe also same father!(different mother of-course).We had a definite father for the Nation but had to call him uncle,chacha...
