Actually, Pune is full of MBA/ DBM/ BBM colleges, many that are conducted in cowsheds, small buildings, small flats and so on. I think at the last count, there would be about 300 to 400 colleges and institutues. All of them claom fancy affilations and are 'equivalent to IIMs'. But the sad fact is that desperate students and the parents, often hock their magre properties to raise money for admission. If and when the degrees are completed, they are awarded a fancy looking certificate that would fetch them a 10k/ month job, selling SIM cards or credit cards. Symbi is slightly bettr placed than these. A few of the students have landed better jobs simply beasue of the students fathers were big shots or had sufficient clout.

spot on dude.. pune is india's educational money mint.. unfortunately its not the students who mint money after passing.. only the trustees.. similar state of IT/MCA colleges down south.
Symbiosis did not figure in the top 50 B-schools in India as featured by Careers 360 this year. So one wonders what Symbiosis is crooning about themselves and waxing eloquent? It's seems to be just one of those "pay-well and so will teach-well" institutes......
