''Private schools free to fix their own fees ''
by Rajib Chattopadhyay on Feb 20, 2010 11:53 PM

Our Dear minister wants to make the private schools rich by having no restriction on fees .Mr Sibal should see things from th point of view of a parents. In the present time opening of school is a very profit earning venture where infrastructure is present but good faculty is difficult to get.By giving freedom to pvt schools on fee hike and removing guidlines regarding salary structure is not at all sensible .Mr.Sibal can instead open innumerable govt schools and appoint volunteers (his family members )as teachers ??He wants to discourage the people to take up teaching as proffesion. If you throw peanuts you will get monkeys only Mr Sibal.

Controlling by centre
by amit saxena on Feb 17, 2010 07:04 PM  | Hide replies

The centre want to control the education system. They are seeing money benefit.
Govt should put emphasis on primary education.
Out graduate level education system is good(iits and IIMs are good)
Govt will soon introduce foreign universities and make money by giving them recognization.

Every student will need coaching now
by vivek on Feb 17, 2010 05:19 PM

Ban coachings first, without coaching students may not fetch competitive ranks.

City students, to whom quality coaching is easily available will get almost all top positions, liken now in medical and IIT.

So this exam will go against poor and rural students. It will greatly boost coaching industry.

Do not wonder if by 2015 you witness organised coaching classes become most profitable service sector.
