High blood pressure
High blood cholesterol
Obesity
Stress
Being physically inactive
Smoking
Diabetes (high blood sugar)
Atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries)
Having a parent with a history of coronary heart disease puts you at a higher heart attack risk, especially if your father had a heart attack before age 55 and/or mother had a heart attack before age 65.

All said and done but the first and foremost is not said or corrected,that is the expenses on treatment.The hospitals,Nursing Homes and Doctors are all there to exploit.This is no longer a noble profession but a big Industry.

The best proven preventive measure to heart attacks in particular and most life threatening ailments in general is shedding 'hate' and get out of 'guilt'. These two contribute to majority of ailments because they eat your body like acid.


It is proven that LOVE melts every thing - including cholesterol which causes heart blockades. lol.

Combine the above with the following

Eat less. Meaning if you are capable of eating 8 rotis, then eat just 6 or may be 5.

Pray God as soon as you get up from bed whole heartedly and pray God before you retire to bed again with thanks and whole heartedly. Doesnot matter which God.

Always KNOW that every thing happens for a reason which is according to the laws of 'mother nature'. So next time you miss your company bus or miss a project deadline, dont carry that burden all day and the next. Same applies to when you failed in your exams.

Lot of literature - ancient and modern stress the need for fasting one day a week for mint like health - provided you do not have other ailments like diabetis or gastric trouble. The bonus is - spiritual development which adds to your overall well being.
