I feel that in India Kendriya Vidyalayas provide quality education with facilities which most of the Public schools lack -Well equipped Multipurpose activity hall/ resource room - Resourceful libraries with broadband connection - less than 20:1 pupil to computer ratio - 40 students per classroom etc
Well qualified and well paid teachers ready to extend help at any level to the students in need and the modern amenities make Kendriya Vidyalayas an ideal place to learn and build the future.

In developed countries, public schools have accountability. The people pay taxes and ask for quality in return. In India we find every possible way to not pay taxes. In a country where black money is 2 times the size of white money, what else can be achieved. Enough has been said and documented about it.
Those days have gone. Students learning about Cinema more, and lacking General Knowledge.
They learn this GK in the name of Aptitude Tests and many newly named Headings.
The current Private Schools can not match the Olden and Golden days.
I really salute my Teachers for their devotion.
Nowadays teachers are only earning machines and not imaprting good lessons or instilling any basic knowledge that is required for the Age.
The Govt. Schools are better now and improved than those days where they never cared for. The days are over. If they still improve more, none of the Private Schools can match with them.
The Pity is People don't like the way the Schools are run or the controls they have.
Let us hope the atleast in future Govt. ponder over the improvement in all angles and upring them, and close the Private Day Robbers.
Even home study and Private appearance for Exams is better than Private Schools, which are just Earning Machines sorry Missions.
Quality of the school is quality of students and teachers. Govt Schools are callous w.r.t teachers and students on an average is not interested in studies. Bids of same feather flock toghether.
I prefer investment options guaranteed by Govt., But for education and healthcare, Pvt sector is the way to go

yeah I agree..But the cost is really a factor in private schools. The better schools have really high fees. The problem is also of shortage of good teachers. This certainly needs some reforms. The demand for schools is getting higher and this needs to be addressed through both government and private means.
Why the private Schools are better than Govt. School? Are the minister and govt. education departments sleeping? Then wakeup, other wise shutdown the govt. schools. Who will rule the private schools? They are doing as they like.

Well there is no denying that private schools are better. I do not see any problem with this except that of the fees that needs to be controlled. They are anyways under goverment supervision and monitoring through Central(CBSE,ICSE) or state education boards. There are very few government schools in India that are affliated with central boards. So, it is not just the fees but overall difference to approach that is leading to such problems.
