Remember one thing that nobody will earn for you.Everbody would like to earn through you.So better understand all such money games i.e shares,mutual fund PMS etc.If you are not greedy and live simplest of simple life than Small Savings i.e.PPF,GPF,EPF,NSC,KYP all govermemt backed but you will certainly earn less.In others if you are not smart than one time you earn and loose second time.REMEMBER MONEY BELONGS TO YOU,NOT TO YOUR SONS,BROTHERS,SISTERS AND OTHER RELATIVES. YOUR MONEY BELONGS TO YOU AND OFCOURSE YOUR PARAENTS. YOUR LIABILITIES TOWARDS YOUR PARENTS ARE LEGAL,MORAL,SOCIAL AND MUCH REWARDING THAN ONE CAN IMAGINE..
Never invest in PMS. It works in the interest of Portfolio Managers not Investors. There is an eye opener article on this by ValueResearch. Do read it.

i also came to know that some people lost through portfolio due to wrong advice & aggression. choose the correct one.
