Fully agree!! The institution of marriage, living for each other etc is going to die forever in India. Soon we will be like US or Europe excepting their good infrastructure etc.
Truly speaking marriage is for loving somebody whom you can trust, keep happy and enjoy life with. We born in family by fate but we chose partner by choice. Marriage is feeling of oneness, integrity & togetherness. It is really important that you should leave aside money from your mind else you will keep on calculating self centered things for your life. The joy of life is giving, sharing not taking - You are not going to take anything when you die. You should not only respect & keep your spouse happy but also respect his/her family.
The above article is totally right in the manner of current situation.The market is influenced due to the hike in the price of each & every necessisities. one man's earning in the family is scares to spends on goods due to inflation. there should have been mutual understanding between the both partners to earn from bothside but spend from one side, one side can make saving of his earning. Due to both the earners,single partner can not provide that much attention on spendings instead of that both can provide their few time for it then it will be easy to track the same i.e. spending & savings.neither there will be hide &seek. so the personal finance of both partners maintains balance in the both side.
