I know atleast two women who have married blind people and have lovely families. Both are famous Music reciters and teach music as well. Both are well known in Sikh temple circuits around the world. Their names. 1) Sheetal Singh Sitara now lives in UK. 2)Ajit Singh. Both have been blind since childhood. So there you are Blindness is no handicap. As they say love is blind any way. Sheetal Singh Sitara runs a blind peoples music academy.
It would have helped if the interview had brought out how JP Morgan has created/modified infrastructure to suit Mr Goel's needs. In various offices accross India including Government sector when they employ blind people they dont know how to put them to work. We have a blind telephone operator and in recent times, switch board concept has become outdated. But we dont know what kind of work we can give that person. Mr Aashish Goel said he works for investment department of JP Morgan. As far as I know, any body who works in a bank per se has to work with computers and should have ability to analyse/interpret lot of numerical data and a blind person I guess cannot see any computer screen. It would have been very much helpful to know how JP Morgan has crossed this huddle.
