More Indian Americans heading back home
by Sheetal Kaur on Dec 15, 2010 06:14 PM

Not only American indians but also Indians Living in UK and Europe are ready to head back home.
Only thing stopping us to do so is the government harassment and lack of law and order.
For time being we are quite happy where we are, but still keep our life line intact with India.

There are many kinds of people who returning back to india-from US for different reasons.
1) Family and friends.
2) Feeling social security
3) Retired life.

If somebody who fals into average percentage who lived in US for atleast 5 Yrs means He/she will have to think alot before moving back to india.Think about following ,

1) Consider aboyt climate. Not all can live in Kashmir or Ooty.
2) R u srious India is really good for career ?R u looking to make better career /money in india than US?
3) Have you thought about daily life style like dealing with govt , or society , politics , system
4) Are you going to india for retirement or to work or family or combination.
I think there are more to consider even to continue staying here as well.

1) Gun culture
2) Stress
3) Kids and family values
4) Health and security etc.
Im nto saying whats wrong or right.I see this situations are same like some body who moved from small village to Some Metro city in india for different reasons and going back to Village after some years.Do you see big difference?

If more people are coming back to India ( I am not sure about their profiles though but I guess the cream of them is staying back) then I am sure too that even more are heading for USA. India is a failed democracy and will continue to go down the drain if the anarchy started by the ruling party does not stop asap. I am not a supporter of BJP but it pains to see the condition of the coountry in the hands of Congress.

To all so-called
by Prianka Shiv on Dec 14, 2010 04:13 AM

All so-called "patriots" .. please do a simple google search on remittance and you'll see that India receives most remittances than any other country from its non-residents. So try to open up your closed minds and stop bashing NRIs when they are actually making investments in India, supporting families in India, making donations for charities in India.
