thanks to Baishali for reminding me of Jalpaigudi days. from 22nd to 3rd we were on a Kerala tour from Waynad to K'kumari. we are all of the opinion that 'Beautiful Bengal' is far far better than 'Gods' own Country'. it is all presentation...Ad. it is true we do not have coffee, rubber, elaichi like Kerala. the Hoses in the midst of woods are palaces only. Gate bears an display of cell no and vouch for Homestay......there are lots of cats and dogs seen.....there are hardly any human being......full of young lots from Assam and bengal in search of fortunes.
you may find it shocking. but most of the himalaya is already taken over by china. remaining they will also take over. since they have trillions of dollars and both US and Europe are wanting to be thier friend. Thats why always keep repeating about growth. we need to grow faster like china. have some money and muscles then the world will listen to us and we can claim our Himalaya. Right now whole tibbet is gone. try seeing on google map. nepal, burma, kashmir every where china sending money to take control. its high time we tighten our belt, work hard with lazer like focus on growth. dont let any other topic come for even a second. Himalaya is power house of world's spirituality and it should be with india. jai hind.
