Love my teachers!
by mallaiah anchoori on Sep 05, 2010 09:12 PM

A school is made up of teachers it has & the students are made up of the teachers they have. This is a bitter truth which came true at least in my case.My school A V V High School,I can never forget in my life. All the teachers it had were gems, repositories of knowledge, custodians of values & discipline.I can never forget the love they showered & the fondling touched they blessed me with -especially my being the I st rank holder in all the subjects except Mathematics which is nightmare for me even today.I discreetly remember the affection showered by my class teacher Sri Gopi Reddy who went out of the way even to postpone the monthly test to a further date just because I could not attend the school due to ill health, who awarded full marks to an answer to a question not asked for since he knew that I was his bright at studies & knew the answer even to the question asked but erred owing to inadvertence.I still recall the happy moments when I used to receive the answer sheets of English & Telugu papers where at I was 100% confident of not being beaten by any one- especially I used to feel elated when I was getting more than 60% (which was extremely difficult those days) in English I paper valued by our great Head Master Y K Sastry who was very strict in awarding marks & also from Sri Venkatrajam who used to give even 1/4 mark also. I love my teachers;I adore my teachers;I respect my teachers.

Teacher's day is around the corner. And now everyone will suddenly get "emotional" about the teachers they never gave a $#it about.
Same thing happens on Independence Day/ Republic Day

My teacher in medical college.Being a noble soul & very mild we used to bluff answers. He would ask us a to where we read so that he can refer but would never cold or doubt us,thus making us realise our folly. He used to stay in the hosp almost 24 hrs at the ervice of patients & spend money on their medicines & food, hardly on his self.

TODAYS STUDENT IS TOMORROWS TEACHER/PREACHER
now the youngsters, who ever show token of devotion/respect towards a teacher or an elder ; known as a act of shame as they find our teachers/elders are out dated stuff with a phenomena of old ideas . But same time they ignore the fact that every sphere of profession for perfection require minimum of 15-20 years; becoz the elders who speak of truth about a fact may be scientific or logic or otherwise through verified facts through their experience/experimentation in a length of time [Expertise].
At the same time Students are to learn a lesson from the very teacher that today's student will be tomorrow's Teacher for the sake of Wisdom that governs the truth of a fact.
