castes are based on your work.It used to be like that in olden days.Times have changed now.We do have dalit priests.Brahmins are underprivileged priests in temples who live on bread crumbs. You can be a brahmin by working. No problem at all.

Its like you still are a christian even if you are black or white but blacks and whites dont go to temples.

By the way, what do you even mean by saying you want to be a brahmin.

YOU ARE A BRAHMIN BY DOING ANY ONE OF THESE...RELIGIOUS,DEATH AND FESTIVAL RITUALS.

so is there anything like converting to a brahmin???
ask yourself my friend.

we are way ahead in this world wrt these aspects and still immersed in useless conflicts.

I SUPPORT THE CASTE SYSTEM TO BE COMPLETELY ABOLISHED NO MATTER WHAT.

Hi Madan,

You can become a brahmi1n by virtue of karma1 and not by janma1.

Unfortunately, people go by janma1 and not by karma1.

Many Shuklas1, Tripathis1 (Amar1 Mani1 Tripathi1) in UP1 are brahmins1 by Janma1, but see the murders1 they commit... all in the name of karma1.

Being a brahmin1 is no body's prerogative.

We all need to read Bhagawad1 Geeta1 more and imbibe the teachings.
