Can you discuss regading the way of improving standards or ranking of Indian Universities? Lots of trained ( foreign) teachers work in different Universities or Institutes in India. Then why are we not progressing?

This is a really silly post. There is nothing like 100% in anything and not being Raja Ramanna doesnt mean that one is nothing. You speak of Raja Ramanna oly because you can remember just one such name and can think of just this yardstick for success. There are a millio ways to succeed and these universities DO turn out more success stiries in diverse fields, but then you wouldnt know or worse, would simply fail to acknowldge sportingly. Be generous mullah ji, your way of measuring success isnt the only one in the world. Moreover, just being in one of these universities, like anything else, does not guarantee success and personal efforts do have a major role to play.

Namakhalaalmulla - How many famous personalities do you know who have passed from these Universities?
Do a little bit of researching before you come up with such comments.
Prof Martin Perl - 1995 Nobel Prize in Physics from Stanford Univ.
Dr. Michael Harrison - From Harvard Medical School - pioneered the technique of conducting pre-natal surgeries of fetus in the womb.
Kerberos was developed at MIT.
Dr. Eugene Braunwald - Cardiologist at Harvard Medical School. Students of Cardiology follow his book all across the world. Has authored 1000 publications in Cardiology.
Prof. Elizabeth Blackburn - Winner of last years Nobel Prize in medicine - from Berkeley.
Except First few names like Harward etc. other names seems to be inserted by the commission agents. Placing MIT, USC & UCLA way below because they dont pay commission to Indian agents. Dont be fooled and rely on own search !!!
USA : That is where life is - no wonder is has attracted many Elite Indians over the last 40 years and will continue to do so....given the patheic conditions here. California,Pennsylvania,Indiana,Minnesota,Ohio,Texas,North Carolina.......oh !! all heavens on earth.

Very true...1000% agreed. Welcome to the hotel california Such a lovely place Such a lovely face Plenty of room at the hotel california Any time of year, you can find it here
On a dark desert highway, cool wind in my hair Warm smell of colitas, rising up through the air Up ahead in the distance, I saw a shimmering light
So I called up the captain, ’please bring me my wine’ He said, ’we haven’t had that spirit here since nineteen sixty nine’ And still those voices are calling from far away, Wake you up in the middle of the night Just to hear them say...
Welcome to the hotel california Such a lovely place
