Dear Mr. Subhash,

It is true that every hungry stomach wants food. We basically work for living. But some talented individuals make a little difference and they just forget that and focus on what the want to do. Naturally they achieve success in their lives. No pains definietly no gains.

You will never ever get paid with this attitude.

This philosophy of loving your work more than the money you make from it, is great only when you get to the top of your profession.

If Punjabis, Gujjus, and the worst of them all - Baniyas find out that this what you believe in, at the beginning of your career, you will become an unpaid slave for the rest of your career or the remainder of your natural life, whichever ends first.

to reach top of your profession also one needs to work -

no one jumps to top position
unless its " baap ka paisa " or maybe
family business

people who have worked hard to earn money value money more then those who get by being born with silver spoon

'Don't chase the money; chase the work'

Sounds like advice an older Ho would give a younger Ho.

But then it is not surprising because she is talking about making it big in one of the biggest b.r.o.t.h.e.l.s in the world - Bollywood.

Also, by making a statement like this, Ms. Gupte has shot herself in the foot and found a new job for herself - chasing money for her hard work.

Bollywood's Punjabi masters are notorious for withholding payments due and in many cases not paying poor professionals at all.

Good luck getting paid now, Ms. Gupte.
