As I would be worng in my analysis but my views are these. I think as subu commented getting a CA easily is very simple for here since they have ready made teracher & guides for the same. if it would had been that she would have dedicated here time and explored the some other studies say like Medicine or engineering then we can speak out her dedication and talent. my request to rediff is to kindly cover story of students passing not with awal rank but of those who earn their family a daily bread and even then manage to atlest get first class thats original talent.........start analysing the truth.

it is really a good achievement.but from my point of view when she is from a family which already has so many CA's ,while her father also being a CA and helping her with studies IT IS REALLY NOT A BIG DEAL FOR HER. WHEN A PERSON COMES FROM SUCH A STRONG BACKGROUND AND WITH SO MUCH BACK UP IS NORMAL FOR THEM TO ACHIEVE THINGS LIKE THIS.

You are wrong!! Individual talent and dedication matters, not family background.

But of course, if father is a CA, there is an advantage.

when she is from a family which has so many CA professionals already it is definitely easy for her to come with a very good result. there are many persons for her who can guide her in a better way which itself will create a huge interest and dedication for her. DEFINITELY THIS IS NOT A BIG DEAL FOR A GIRL WITH SO MUCH BACK UP!!!!!!!

Hitesh, there is no reason to be jealous. I feel pity for them. If you know the condition of most of the IT workers, you would understand.

Well, I did my E&E Engg in the year 2006, had a fantasy to work in IT Sector. My father (professor in State Govt. College) wanted me to join Govt. sector and I was against Govt. jobs.

Joined Tech Mahindra (Other options were Wipro and TCS, but work location was far from home, else I would have joined TCS) with a bond of 2 years. Resigned on 15th Day of my Job, they were not agreeing, but I made them agree. Condition was I will have to serve 30 days notice period and I will never get an opportunity to work with them in future. That was the end of my IT Career and I loved the happy conclusion.

I realized that my father was correct, started preparing for Govt. jobs. Got through BSNL, JTO but did not join as the posting was in IDLI-SAMBAR state.

Now, I am with State Govt. as an Asst Engineer in Electricity Board. I look after my family business (Nursery plantation) as well as my own (Mining sector in partnership), which I started before 6 months. That is all. If you want to know more, let me know.

Yours is a very impressive story. When entire of age bar (General category) for Govt job is spent in writing competitive exams for many in India, your is quite different.

Thank you! It does not matter 'how many hours you study', it matters 'what you study'. The days for Hard work has gone, it's time for smart work, which involves correct analysis for any project/exam.

Choosing correct books matters a lot. Never be dependent on notes, read the books thoroughly.

My dad says, "Books are written for students, not the teachers. They r written in such a way that student can understand. You need teacher when you do not understand something complex. Never be dependent on teachers, read book thoroughly."

And that helped me a lot. I have never studied any notes before reading text book.

Now a days there are huge scope in Govt and huge recruitment is going on. It's not so tough to clear the exam.

If you are trying for any govt job, then good luck.

Jatin, there is no need to promote my cousin. If you think, I need to promote him, then I pity your common sense.
