80 percentage
by Indian Indain on May 01, 2010 08:32 AM  | Hide replies

80% of people depend on agriculture. Govt has nothing done since 60 years..still water scarcity...no dams.. Farmers are dying with debts...

Atleast help farmers in this way........
Dont study this bul1 sh1t subject or dont encourage foreign seeds. They will come with changed genetical like BT cotton, BT brinjal.

BT cotton spoiled the land and caused thousand of farmers die in Maharastra and Andhra pradesh. Let farmers plant what they want...

Close these universites and graduation.

The problem is the govt and its debts.

If our govt was not in bed with the imf/wb then monsanto and genetically modified seeds would never entered our land.

Govt gave 800Cr to air india... but they will not give a paise to a farmer. If govt or we should take over all pesticide and fertilizer companies.. this will make farmers life lot easy.

Good talk but no rality

No doubt this article is informative but a plain Bsc graduate in any discipline has got no market value..leave aside better paying jobs..Big companies hire fresh graduates on contract basis and to get good salaries they have to work for at least 10 yrs..

Though agriculture is a main stay for our economy but due to poor policies of govt and better opportunity in other field people don't want to take up this field.

after doing this course, people has to go villages with their cv's and visit each field for job. And at the end they will realize, instead of this bloody certificates, universities would have given COWDUNG, which is good manure.

what a negative attitude...just because there are no foreign MNC's waiting with huge pay packages outside your university door, does not mean this course does not have a value...the job prospects may not be great but not too bad either... a society needs all kinds of artists... go bugger, go lick you foreign master !

This a very good article and most of our copy paste IT suckers could have done well in agriculture provided they had taken this course. So i request all IT aspirants to divert attention towards this subjects........bad luck for all laid-off-copy-paste-chamsas.
