Right,

Defaulter's forum must beformed as said by my one friend.As he was defaulters to std. chart. credit card only 1 card,but the bank registered other 2 additinal cards of other custmers on his name just to defame and make him more problems and many other persons he has found telling that in defaulter's list the std. chart. bank,,mentioneing complete wrong credit card numbers on his name to CIBIL,so he is unable to apply others.this is the practice by many foreign banks like std. chart. credit cards and others ,so govt. should not allow such banks like standard chart. credit bank to stop buisness as purposefully thses banks are giving many credit card numbers to CIBIL and other's dues to single credit card defaulter like friend,so some forum help people like my friend ,also the bank never sent bills to his addresslast few years after helost his job and got defaulters.now when he approached the bank for repay,bank told him exorbitant fees and intersest on his defaut,so forum must br formed to help such persons legally and stop standard chartered Bank like complete wrong information provider Banks to CIBIL.

My suggestions would be:

Cancel all credit cards from banks like CITI Bank, Stan Chart, ICICI etc and use debit cards only preferably from PSU Banks or may be banks like HDFC and Axis bank;
Since you have neither taken any loan nor you have received any notice from the banks whom you have supposedly defaulted, there is no point in starting a correspondence with these banks;
Instead, write a Strongly Worded letter to CIBIL asking them to rectify their mistake and cautioning them against consequences of wrong reporting:
If it does not work, send a legal notice through a reputed lawyer citing defamation; d
Defamation is a criminal offence; you can try filing an FIR with police; but this you should do with proper care; police may not easily register a case; need I say more?

But these are my opinions; see whether you agree with them

90% of the loan borrower are defaulter
by EFILING on Apr 22, 2010 11:08 AM  | Hide replies

defaulters are growing up in india, unless the bank relax, there will not be any further loan disbursable. if there is no disbursement, then there is no GDP growth, unemployment increases. banks will be closed.

Can you send a notice to CIBIL through a Lawyer for harassment and defamation since their faulty credit report has resulted in bad credit history in your case? Defamation is a criminal offence attracting even arrest; I think that should make them take notice of your complaint;

Absolutely correct. Maybe we can also form a forum to provide legal assistance to people who for no fault of theirs get a bad credit report. Unless we start demanding compensation in crores for such negligence we are destined to suffer at the hands of such bodies.

Cheque bounces appear in CIBIL reports ONLY if the same is not cleared i.e. payment is not made in max 30 days.

The delay payment days should not crossed 30 days at any cost.

Payments are made and settled? means what? you had defaulted and the amount was settled through compromise? is that the case? then, the bank will certainly report it under compromise settlement; then it would be up to you to convince any other bank to get some other loan.

Try 2 make online

Its good tool to verify the credit worthness but it offline and time consuming. Make it online and despatch the document by soft copy and hard copies it very useful
