Good mention by Mr.Satya....I reckon that as a student we really had ample oppertunities to be confident, develop self belief, dream to achieve things what we want and expect compition and co-operation in endeavors...
Why these fashionable statements like what was not taught at so and so insitutute of repute?
It is possible that these were actually taught, but you didn't pay attention or you couldn't understand or you bunked classes or you were a pretty average student, so on and so forth!
The author tried to be positive in life ignoring all the hurdles he comes across. It is good for an article but can he really agree in the real world and move along in this competitive and greedy society ... with sincere doubts
I am of opinion that Law comes first. In every transcation or decision or policy matters ,thes MBAs,Engineers,Doctors ignore or unaware of legal provisions. In a recent interview for manager HR , I as expert find these MBAs are not aware of inimum labor laws and paractice prevailing.I rejected all of them.Similarlry directors, top management also only conecrned with accounts, where to keep the books a lot people engaged besides different audits.I assure you not a single books of acounts is correct even after the audits. They also ignore corporate laws.
IIm's are not such great place or doesnt have super labs which create einsteins year after year.Cmon u cant create any genius in 2 yrs just like that..OK.Give them a batch of dumb people and see if they can be shaped into geniuses. That will be the true test of their credibility.. It is just that these institutes manage to get the best placement companies that the best brains in the country flock to them, who later become thier very brand ambassadors..
THIS IS WHAT I FELT ALL ALONG SINCE GRADUATION, ALTHOUGH I AM NOT AN IIM ALUMNS. THE WORLD IS SUCH A GREAT STAGE THAT THERE IS SPACE FOR EVERYNODY. HENCE, SELF BELIEF, DREAMING, CHOOSING PATH, GROWTH WITH CO-OPERATION SHOULD BE THE PRIORITY AREA FOR CREATIVITY AND HAPPINESS RATHER THAN RELATIVE COMPETITION. - BY PRAFUL RATHI.
