It should have been "Are you ready to go back to college".

The title sound like the article is meant for kids who are enjoying their summer vacation. Poor kids. Their vacation started just a couple of weeks ago. Let them enjoy for another month and half.

This is called nitpicking; The article used an American Slang thats all; Still, the title should have been "CAN YOU AFFORD TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL OR ARE YOU IN A POSITION TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL". Then it would have been more appropriate.

It is more of western slang where they refer to college as school

Really, I do appreciate this article As much as higher education is concerned it is not shmameful to go back to school.
