You can travel to New Jalpaiguri by train (any train that travels to Assam passes through NJP). From there you can hire a jeep (share or hire fully) to Gangtok. In Gangtok you can stay at any hotel ranging from 250 to 3000 depending upon your purse. You can have visits around Gangtok, you can go to Chhangu lake, visit the Indo-Chinese border, go to Rabangla-Peling, visit Yumthang and Yumesandong or Gurudongmar's lake in North Sikkim. Local foods consists mainly of noodles or rice but you will get Chapatis and subzis everywhere, though the varieties may not be there because its a hilly area. People are extremely helpful and cordial. Peaceful place and its a paradise as far as beauty is concerned. Do visit Sikkim, it would be a trip you remember forever. I have gone once and would like to go again. If you want to know more, write to me, I will give more detailed information

its not just money..no job opportunities in kerala. ppl are just sitting on inherited properties and blowing hot air. or else they go to other states. Bet you have dozens of ppl frm ur family in Gulf or gone to chennai,delhi,mumbai.. Hari Menon,go to toddy shop and have some fish curry and discuss about Karl Marx/Lenin

Hahahahahaaaaaaaa.....
Menon really gave a childish comment. But I don’t support DEV for his comment. Kerala is one of the best in country.

1) U wont see any one who has no Degree (We have many educated people. So should find jobs outside. When outsiders cannot fill their own requirements)
Take an average, the % of out siders in the companies of Kerala and % of Keralites in other places. Positions in Kerala is already filled but not with outsiders
2) Any body can talk about Carl max and Lenin.(Well it just comes after lots of reading- I challenge DEV too talk something) Nd fish Curry is Yemmy too
3) We wont find many in Kerala struggling to meet both the ends
4) 80 % stays in their own homes
5) I can be a graduate without spending any money (It would be strange to readers of other states)
6) U hardly find a revote in Kerala.
7) Who don’t make money in Kerala
8) Hehe… And DEV U should working under a Keralite I belive.. Most of the company’s higher positions are already filled with people from Kerala
