Hmm lets see now, does the iphone offer multi tasking?I think not.Does the n97 have a compass feature, yes it does.does the iphone have an inbuilt torch? No.does the N97 have it?yes,do Nokia phones offer a POINT and FIND feature that allows you to find out about an object by just pointing your camera to it?Yes they do and guess what they sell at HALF the price.Nokia phones have always offered more value for money than the competition you can even FOrward your text messages and do Multitasking on nokia phones , at least on the like of nokia 5800 and n97 among the other phones offering the latest symbian 5th edition operating system available even in nokia phones costing Rs.8000.Is the iphone overpriced?I think so.Whould I buy an Iphone even at Rs.8000?the answer to that question is a MAybe. Will I spend 10K or more to buy it? Never.

by the way check out the OVI store from nokia most of the cool stuff is FREE and you can connect any nokia phone to the computer and simply transfer any mp3 file to your nokia mobile phone , no need for any "SPECIAL" software to transfer music. You can watch movies on the 3 inch 5800 screen and also on the nokia 5530 & 5230 (Rs.8000) these phone have wifi and gps and good cameras too.Nokia come out with updates that add to and improve the features on the phone AND ALso MAke the phone FASTER unlike others where updates make the phone slow.

Nexus One is a good altnerative, but iPhone still holds up
by Shivam Parikh on Apr 03, 2010 09:03 PM

Ive been using the Nexus One since the day it released in the United States (early bird order). Now though the Nexus is great, it lacks out in the brightness - aim at the sun and even at best settings you cant see your screen. With the iPhone you can.

Further better applications on AppStore with better graphics and functionality. The Android has an excellent touch password system, and a great camera, but if you multi-task enough on the Nexus, you know it hangs , crashes, etc.

iPhone rarely and I repeat rarely crashes. Sometimes the only real multitask application is Gtalk by default that you would consider using. Other than that, most other applications dont need to be multi-tasked anyways.Id love to disable multi tasking on Nexus - would solve many issues.

When it comes to audio output, the iPhone also outperforms the Nexus - in my opinion.

Nexus is simply a good business phone but not an all-rounder. Though I use the Nexus even right now..I feel the iPhone beats it in the right places - for the Indian climate and weather and the sun that keeps smashing into it..every time Im outside (which is alot in this heated city of Ahmedabad).

I must say that Voice Comman on Nexus requires the internet, beyond that limitation - its voice understanding is close to excellent.

DrawBack
by Shiva Kumar on Apr 03, 2010 11:32 AM

The Main Draw Back for iPhone, iPhone-3Gs and iPad is They don't support MultiTasking.

It Means When you are playing a game or opened any application on these three devices and if you get a call then those games or applications will be started from Beginning.

I heard N97 firmware is a mess with limitations on the touch screen (active vs. reactive) and other issues with flash, etc.

Overall I heard very bad reviews (Ive also used the phone but wont take my bias into consideration)
