Then people should definitely migrate to Australia or any country. As far as education standard is concerned I think US, UK and India(difficult option though) are better options(Some Aussie Unis like UWA, Swinburne, Maquarie, UNSW etc as well are good). When it comes to ordinary students with dream of miration, Australia is the choice. So keep going if safety is good.
Clearly and most unabashedly has the australian government - through its silence , accepted the racist nature of australians.
It is hard to change such fundamental characteristics that is a general affliction.
So since we cant change the australians - and their motive to attack indian students - and since also the indian government faila to take any substantial action , It is best that we look out for other opportunities of education that are being made available in much more freindlier nations.

I really thinks some time how the hell you are low thinking are in Australia. If any thing could happen to you, then you might not commenting in rediff. Just think man, someday you are in parking lot, parked your car and just going to your home and someone/group attacked you. What to do with any part of India. And I would like to say you are not Indian who generalizes in such a manner. I am not from north or not from south. and what does it mean when you say We dont need these kind of arrogant here. You coconut, I would proudly say you are might be born with mix of other breed or ..... I have such fellow who says him self Indian and no respect for his country.
I pity the rest of the indian students who actually have applied and are going to Australia this yr despite the racial attacks. May their soul rest in piece... oops peace.
indian students are very intetllegent in the world .if not australia .other countries will call us. one day we will dominate australia and they will speak Hindi

hell will be a better place for you but I am afraid even there you will not be accepted. they will kick your ass !!!
Why to go for study at places where you are not welcome and your life is also at stake. We must strive hard to improve the quality of our Universities and colleges so that this migration gets curtailed and student community gets options in india itself.
It is not the case that Universities in australia are providing any Unique education or every Univ has world class status like MIT Boston. Indian students were attracted because of the fact that in india there is a great mess in education system and getting admission to a renowned college or Univ is very tough as compared to Australia.
Please try to come out from this concept that Phirangee Degree worth more than Indian degree. It is individual capability which makes a person successful in life. Sign off from Australia.
