The study seems to be not realistic. People may prefer to move out for a variety of reasons; but change once they reach 15-20 years of service is not that easy. Remustering to other areas especially for professionals is also not that easy as no new employer would like to induct people at that level. MPR Panicker, Cochin
Does not apply to Govt. servants, as they are son in laws of Govt. guaranteed upto 60 years of age without work, accountability and payment to a commoner is 4 to 5 times comparing to private sector.

I feel, you are applying for govt job and trying to reduce competition. Many of my friends left IBM and joined govt job. Govt is paying good salary, with facilities it comes around 35k per month and job is also secure upto 60 years of age followed by good pension. We who feel that private jobs is good are sucking now..

Hi, in IT if you stay more than 2 years, that mean either company gives you good hike or person is not enough capable to get a new job.
